Art Filled Living

Canvas Transfers can be applied to almost every print!
Art Filled Living is proud to present our customers with the ability to custom configure almost every print that we sell as a canvas transfer. However, in some cases the canvas transfer process is not allowed due to copyright restrictions, or a request from the artist or artist's estate. We at Art Filled Living endeavor to exceed the customers expectations for canvas transfer quality, availability, and turn around time.
What is a Canvas Transfer?
Each Canvas Transfer is made to order for each customer. During the transfer process your selected art print is heat set onto canvas, wrapped around stretcher bars, and hand painted by artists. Producing a canvas transfer is a very involved process, which begins with an art print (ink on paper). Special chemicals are applied which, when dried, form a film that is meticulously separated from the paper and permanently embedded onto a high quality artist canvas. The canvas is then carefully stretched and wrapped around a sturdy, custom-cut inner support frame, called a "stretcher bar". Then your canvas transfer is embellished with hand applied brushstrokes of transparent acrylics to recreate the additional depth, texture, and richness found on the original artwork. An artist's individual attention makes each canvas transfer a unique piece of art. Canvas is wrapped around the stretcher bars and stapled on the back. White canvas will show on the sides and no part of the image is lost during this wrapping process. The stretcher bar on the back of the canvas has a saw-tooth hanger, making it ready to hang on your wall. The canvas texture and non-reflective nature of a canvas transfer allows you to hang them under any lighting conditions. Differing from traditional paper art prints, a canvas transfer has a lifespan as long as any original painting or work of art. They can easily be dusted and cleaned with a damp cloth, giving years of use and enjoyment.
Selecting a Canvas Transfer
Each art print displayed on ArtFilled Living.com has a text link that reads "Canvas Transfer" located below the "See It Framed" and "Add to Cart" buttons. Clicking this link brings you into our online Frame Shop for Canvas Transfers. The first tab, "Canvas", to the right of the displayed artwork shows a brief overview of what a canvas transfer is. The second tab, "Moulding", allows you to either leave the canvas transfer without a custom frame or select a custom frame. Once you have finished customizing your canvas transfer, click the add to cart button to checkout.
